A representative for southeast Kansas, Julie Menghini approached us in 2006 to develop a simple site to manage campaign news from in the fall.  This site was built with a simple, low-cost layout in mind, and originally deployed on the Joomla CMS.  The site was also done as a rapid deployment due to the high priority need to get a web presence established quickly.  The entire turnaround process was under one week.

In 2009, we revisited the site to update the framework and move to the simpler Wordpress system.  The base template was retained by the client and converted from Joomla to Wordpress.  This made the site overall easier to maintain for the client, and encouraged future enhancements and development.  This also allowed for the deployment of a more powerful contact system and event calendar to allow them to manage information related to her office.
